Hi

I have a 06 d4d, if i disconnect the Battery will I need to put a code into the radio ? I don't have one if I do.

also, the gear nob metal has worn, how do I get it off.

Kev, got the wife to give it a 'good yank' and twist it back and forward but nothing is happening !! I maybe if I found a younger one, that might help .

Stroof, Dan....a younger knob...? Go for a 2009 SR180 then.....look what happened to Charlie's....covered in wee red bits....bad sign that.

Mike I was hoping maybe Yours was a simpler design to My one as I couldn't fathom out how to remove it when it got the red bits applied . Sorry cant therefore help ...

Hi

My nob is like Charlie s, the top bit is worn through from too much resting of sweaty hand on it !! I need to take off the top bit. Oh dear.
