Scuffed Steering Wheel

Surprised to see leather starting to flake off steering wheel of my 2010 facelift Avensis after only 14000 miles. Just in one area of the wheel at between 10 and 20 past two. Don't wear rings so can't blame those for contributing to the issue. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced the same thing?

Interesting that no replies to my post, suggesting that none of the forum readers out there have come across this issue themselves. Having now spoken to my local dealer, and having the steering wheel inspected and replaced under warranty, that there must be an issue with some of the later models.

Very impressed with the no nonsense approach by the local dealer who identified that there was a Toyota bulletin issued on this problem and handled the whole matter very efficiently.
