Steering Knock

Hi Guys the Deakin here my 06 avensis D4D T3X has this knocking noise coming from the front suspension it vibrates up through the car and has got very annoying,i am a taxi driver so i am on the road quite a lot so i was very intrested in a posting on the 22nd of august 2011 by wiilm who had the same sort of problem,i never found out if he got the problem fixed so having tried everthing else like new ball joints,new anti roll bar bushing,new wishbone bushings,new shocks and a 4 wheel lazer alingment,i thought i would try putting a reconditioned steering rack into the car to see if this would help,it just went in last week-end and to be honest it has helped a little but it is still not 100% is the suspension in the facelift models maybe harder than the older models because i never had this problem in my older avensis or is there some other sort of problem that i dont know about.Thanks for any Help

is this an ex lease car?

The knock happen everytime i drive over uneven ground bumps ect and no this is not a lease car.
