Only One Remote Key Supplied?

Hello i am in the process of buying a Corolla 06 from a Toyota main dealer with a 12 Months Toyota warranty.However i am only being offered 1 remote key and a none remote key. Should a Toyota dealer offer 2 remotes even if one has been lost my the previous owner? can anyone advise please.

Hi Paul if it does't concern you that there is only one remote key where there should be two, i would make the dealer give you a second key as part of the deal they can be quite expensive

There would be two remote keys when the car was new so there should be two now. Insist on another remote. Been reading recently that some cases have come to light where a previous keeper has kept the spare remote, passed it on to a less than honest person who then stole the car back. Probably not relevant in your case but get them to re program the keys.
