Hi mates,

Today I had really bad experience with chipping my auris. I went to mehanic that guarantee me 120ps(hp) or 110ps(hp) with some "CMD" if not mistaken thats some Germany chip tuning house.

He really acceced to their web site and they have sended him some file. After he done tuning, I didnt notice any differences. He done this several times even forced me to travel 500km (310 miles). I payed 470 euros and now I have the same performance. He agrees to return me chip to standard state...

So what I need is some solutions, perhaps auris has protected chip or smth and he automacly roll back chip to previos state ?!

I think you'll find that if its the same as my Avensis that the Denso can't be cracked! But you can use a piggy back box like the one that member Kingo sells or the TUNIT boxs.

As said above, the ECU cannot be chipped/remapped so you have handed over your money to someone who either doesn't know what they are doing, or knows exactly what they are doing by getting paid for nothing.

The only way to get extra power from the Toyota engine is to use a tuning box. Anything else is a waste of money, and if you are happy to spend that amount of money on a remap, then spend the same amount on a decent tuning box as a cheap one may cause problems.

Good luck with your refund

Have the same problem with my dog Flynn, his little legs are a blur when he is running,he has been chipped but goes no faster. If i fitted him with a tunit box, where would i plug it in, without making his eyes water.

Now that's funny!

By the way, you said 'chipping' didn't make him go faster?

That's odd, 'cos our dog runs twice as fast when you wave one at him -

- and even faster if you show him the whole bagful!

Thats nothing,if i give my dog a chip he looks for bit of fish too.though he cant handle the little wooden fork, tries to eat that as well.greedy little sod.but love him to bits.IMG_0558.jpg

You can re-map a 1.4 on the Bosch system, you cannot re-map the Denso system, the pump is encrypted and nobody has cracked it yet. Fitting a tuning box is the only way to do it on the Denso system
