Hi! hope you can help! I need a new nearside light unit for my 2002 1.0 Yaris as Ive cracked the lense. I bought one from an e bay seller and the unit is the same except for the wiring that connects each section of the unit and wirng plug. On the one from my car the sections are connected by what Ican only describe as rails,where as the new unit has wires as in the Haynes manual. The wiring plug on the car s also much bigger than the one shown in the manual. The lense is the same. If anyone can help or point me in the right direction as to where Ican buy one that would be great!! cheers!!

It sounds like youv'e got a 'Jap' unit instaed of a 'French' or vise versa! A lot of parts may look the same but that's where the simalarity ends! All you need to do if find out the country of origin(check the first 3 letters of the vin no.VNK = French and if it begins with 'JTD' = Japanese) and then make sure you specify this when purchasing parts.
