Nudge/ A Bars On A 98 Rav

Hi i just bought a 1998 rav4 and i am finding it difficult finding a set of 'A' bars for the front bumper or any form of under body protection. i am therefore thinking of making my own sump/steering guard. has anyone done this before?

No reason why you can't make up a guard.

I have a wrap around front bar but its well rusted and the tight bends on it meant I couldn't find anyone locally able to replicate it. I'd have thought a good blacksmith up your way will be able to help.

The bars are no longer supplied by Toyota. However some 4x4 web sites may have bars still for sale.... I found 1 supplier by googling RAV4 bull bars UK - HERE
