Yaris Without Any Central Locking

My 02 Yaris appears to have no central locking (manual or remote). Are there 02 VVTi models without any central locking?

Not all the trims had it IIRC.

...but since the site overhaul their info seems a bit suspect; It doesn't list central locking for a lot of the models but I know for a fact that my T-Spirit Yaris has it!!

If I recall the early models were S, GS, GLS and CDX. At the time we bought ours, only the GLS and CDX came with central locking, I think....

(and the model logo was on the door mirror casing, not the boot lid, just in case you were wondering.

VVTi just refers to the type of engine and all the Yaris petrol engines were VVTi....

Our 2000 GS model had manual central locking as well. It stopped working on the drivers side, but a small spray of silicone spray onto the key got it working again

my 55 plate t2 had no central locking as standard but i fitted an eBay kit.
