Hello everyone,

Purchased a used Avensis a week ago and I'm impressed. Have a very minor problem with the dash display. It involves the reset button that controls/alter the clock and the MPG readout. Its also used to brighten/dim the dashboard light. The latter works OK, but I can't reset the clock, or alter the readout for the MPG... its stuck on "momentary". I could take it back but its a fifty mile round trip to the dealer and I couldn't be without the car for a few days, just to sort out what essentially is rather trivial. I've followed the manual to the letter, but no joy. Has anyone got any practical advice, please?

on my 2007 TR (slightly later than your model) the clock, mpg etc. are altered by pushing the Disp button on th rh side of the steering wheel.
