Winter Tyres... Again!

Looking at 4 new boots for the Rav and wondered if it is ok to run winter tyres all year round? If so, what are the effects? Increased road noise at speed? Faster wear?

Anyway. I didn't really want to go much over £100 a corner. I have seen a few options and wondered what your thoughts are on them or if you recommend any alternatives.

First ones are federal himilayas at £108 per corner, second ones are Fullrun Win88 at £95 a corner and lastly and most costly are Falken hs439 at £125 a corner.

They all have the snowflake symbol on them.

Thanks,

Ben.

I had the Brisgestones on last winter and we had a hell of a lot of anow and ice etc. The car was great and never hicked. I now have the Hankook ventus on which are about £100 each. My bro in law had these on his Rav last winter and he couldnt fault them.

All year round? Why?

As I can't afford to buy 2 sets of tyres so was wondering if winter tyres in summer were a safer option than summer tyres in winter.

Otherwise, would I do better buying some all season tyres like General Grabber UHPs? I have seen those for £112 a corner fitted. Is that a good price?
