Wheel Rims

Hello all

A key part of all the talk about winter tyres is having a spare set of wheel rims to put them on.

I spotted the below on fleabay in case it is any use to anyone... (no interest in it myself)

Out of interest, what would everyone consider a fair price for either used alloys or steel rims - I am looking to get a set and want to know that I am both offering and getting a fair deal.

Hi Bristim, i would consider £40-£60 a fair price for the steel rims depending on condition, but £30 postage makes them too expensive unless they finish at a tenner

Thanks Grenadekidffere - just to repeat that the fleabay bit is nowt to do with me, in case you are thinking that it is a sly ad...

I see that Charlie is also asking a similar question, so any info would be useful - currently seen some standard fit Toyota 16 inch twin spoke alloys for sale, but not sure what I should be offering.

Thats ok bristim i wasnt thinking you had anything to do with the add, i was just commenting on the price i see local steels for sale and what they make As regarding alloys i dont have a clue what a fair price would be as it all depends on what type of alloy and what condition.I dont watch alloy prices or what they make, but best to watch on eBay for a while to give you a rough guide m8

Got My ones sorted now Mate.. Bought a set of WSP Catania Toyota T180 replicas.. Toyota Rav4 wheels are extremely hard to find and time was running out !! Tyres now are getting very hard indeed to find !!

A lot of the difficulty with Winter tyres for us Toyota fans is the ODD sizing Toyota do for their wheels.Urbancruisers and iq owners must be top of the list.
