Removing Cd Player Fascia On 2005 Avensis

Hello to all,

I wish to remove the cd player fascia from my avensis for some cosmetic fixes.

I have read that I'm supposed to remove the gear shift panel and the mahagonni trim first, before I can access the A/C and cd player fascia, however I'm not sure how to do this without braking clips and/or damaging the plastic?!?!

Has anyone done this before, or know how it should be done?

Thank you, this tutorial is really useful!

I will try to clip off the gear shift panel with a taped screwdriver, hoping I wont damage the interior.
