Fuel Injectors 2se

Am tearing down a 2SE (86 Camry) and cannot figure out how to get the electrical connectors off the injectors to remove the fuel rail.

The connector has a wire around 3/4 of the bottom of the connector and looks like it needs a special tool to pry the ends open to release the connector.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to easily release these connectors?

Thanks for your comments.

Thanks for the tip, but pushing does nothing to help to release the connector.

See attached photo of a same type of connector used in other places on the car. You can see the ends of the wire that capture on the sides of the mating connector. I expect there is a tool required to pry the wire ends loose to release the connector.

The problem is that the fuel injector connectors are in very tight spots and the wire ends are not available for any tools I have.

Hope you have some more recommendations. Thanks for the help.
