Mp3 Adapter - A Solution For Navigation Systems

There have been numerous posts about problems finding an MP3/iPod adapter which works with the TNS (Sat Nav) audio system fitted to the Avensis range. Bought this off eBay and fitted it today - simple install AND it works!!:

The manufacturer (GROM) and eBay seller provide a wide range of units which will cover the iPod and simple AUX or 3.5mm applications. The guy who runs the carputer-shop (Richard) was extremely helpful. I am really pleased with the kit as I didn't want to use any kind Transmitter or modulator due to the poor sound quality. Some will be aware that Toyota supply an iPod unit for the Navigation range but this comes in at more than £150!

I was actually going to get one of these for my iPhone (80-90 pounds). I am already hooking my iPhone to my stereo with belkin cassette adapter, and sound is excellent.

The only benefit I will get with this kit, would be controlling songs from steering wheel coloumn.
