Gen 7 Celica Exhaust

hi there guys, iv just seen a custom exhaust speciallist, just wanted your advice, he told me he thinks the best exhaust set-up is too cut the pipe at the end of the cat back, weld a 3' pipe all the way down , what do you guys think, if you disagree, what do you think i should get instead?

With the silencers removed the car will be very loud. You can buy Toyota TTE exhuasts straight from Toyota otherwise try Fensport, they stcok the Blitz exhausts but they are fairly pricey. Don't expect much in the way of power gains. There is a comprehensive exhaust review conducted by an American website just google celica gts exhuast review.

I wouldn't go 3" all the way down. For an NA car I'd go upto 2.5", otherwise you'll end up losing power. Even all of the Supercharged Gen7's I know (there's 20+ now), are not running 3" exhausts but 2.5".
