Air Filters

Recently tried to purchase a free flow air filter, I've tried one from pipercross and K & N both have been too long and generally don't fit. Yaris 2002 1.3SR I suspect that the airbox has been changed since 1999 but companies still spec same filter for all since 1999. Has anyone fitted freeflow filter or induction kit any ideas please.
