2004 Xt3 Tyres

Hi Guys, long time no speak.

SWMBO has a 2004 XT3 5-door petrol has 235/60/16 Toyo A11 Tranpath as original equipment. Bot front and rear axle pairs have been replaced in the past with original equipment as a tyre dealer advised me to.

The fronts will want replacing soon but I was wondering if I could use another brand of tyre instead of the Toyos?

As the car has a front to rear diff does the question of rolling radius come into the equation?

What I'm after is to be able to keep the perfectly good rears and replace the fronts with any suitable make of tyre.

Any thoughts anyone?

Cheers Steve
