Hi, just fitted the very same towbar the previous weekend, the wiring is pretty straight forward,(I use the blue snap connectors) firstly you have to take off the plastic strip on the boot floor just inside, next to the bumper, then both inside panels off in the boot area(rear seats flicked up and the lower rear seatbelt bolt to undo)mixture of poppers and screws, to expose all the wires behind the rear light units and identify them for splicing.I ran the wires to the offside, then 2 back to the nearside for indicators and nearside lights.

thanks for the reply I removed one side but ran out of time, have you kept the colours ie do you know what colours go to what light might save me a job, I struggled getting the extra bolts in the chassis to go in the two orinal holes were OK but the two that had not been used before just would not go down and the exhaust was in the way, now I know why the owner had bought it and decided not to fit it, I see you have a 2003 model mine is a 2006 complete different back end it's nearly impossible to see the cables going to the lights

yes I had the same problem with the 2 exposed captive nuts in the offside chassis rail, I had to buy a M12x1.25 (exact size but cuts throug the rust)tap, colours are:-

yellow-L/H indicator

blue -fog lights

white-earth

green-R/H indicator

brown-R/H tail light

red-stop lights

black-L/H tail light

Hope this helps

Graham

ps I've not wired the 12s, caravan socket yet!

Cheers Graham is that the colours of the 7 core cable, them colours don't respond to the Vehicle wiring I was hoping to splice into the wiring in-between the two inspection holes, the wires are there but I need the colour codes
