Broken Wing Mirror

Hi

Someone broke my drivers outside door mirror. It looks like the hinge itself is broken with no other damage. Its hanging off though.

Can this be fixed or do I need to get a full door mirror kit to replace it?

Whats the Toyota part no for the hinge if it can be replaced?

Also there is a wirring noise from the motor - retractable door mirror motor I think. Is there a fuse that can disable it?

its probably the motor earthing.

Unplug it from the wiring loom,

(remove the door card)

also... to repair fix it use gaffa tape

are you sure that it's actually broken?

I had mine clipped by an idiot in a Vectra (closing speed must have been about 40mph) & I was left with it all hanging etc. & was sure that I was looking at a replacement but it all went back together OK (my Toyota dealer didn't even charge for it which is 1 reason that I keep taking the car back there for service even though there are nearer dealers).

What it would cost depends upon what if anything is reusable & whether painting of the Shell is necessary.
