No Revs / Limp Mode - Fault Code P2118 / Possible Etcs ?

Hello,

My 2007 Avensis 1.8 petrol will not rev beyond 1600rpm (approx) and is barely driveable after the Battery running low and being jump started.

A diagnostic fault scan came up with the fault P2118 Throttle Actuator Control

Googling around, it seems other Toyota's with similar electronic throttles suffer from similar trouble which is often rectified by replacing the ETCS fuse (10a)

Could anyone be so kind to point out where this fuse is located, so that I can replace it ?

Found it - replaced with the supplied spare, cleared the code and it's all 100% again !!!

Common Toyota problem when a flat battery is jump started - just replace the ETCS fuse - 10 Amp if I recall correctly.

That is a very good bit of information lads.
