Went all through the booking process and thought i'd booked a couple of tickets, received a thank you for your order message, for Top Gear Live, London ExCel

well i'm a bit miffed here, my card will be charged £0.00, no reference number and no email confirmation has been sent either, i would have thought email notification would have been generated automatically, the other thing is, it says i have been allocated 2 seats, when booking i chose 1 adult ticket and 1 free child ticket (age 5-8) this meant that i would be allocated one seat as they state that the child will be expected to sit on the adults lap, so overall a little confused, unless of course they will send an email confirmation during normal box office opening times.

Just wondering if anyone else has ordered tickets from the link, problem free ?.

Just to update, i called the 0871 number to enquire if they had received my order, they took all my information again, checked and confirmed that nothing had been booked under my name, they took my phone number and said they would call me back in 30 minutes, just in case there was a fixed time delay on online bookings before it showed on their system, well they called me back and again confirmed that nothing was showing under my name or email address, so i will have to call back in the morning after 9am when a supervisor will be available.

Already booked moths ago I'm afraid!

Went to the NEC one last year but doing the excel one on the 27th. Last years was pretry good so hopefully this will be better as they say there is more to see and do!

I checked with my credit card provider to see if any transaction was made last night and was told nothing showing, so i phoned the booking line again thismorning , and was told that nothing booked under my name, the guy asked if i would like to re-book tickets with him, so i did just that.

When you dial the 0871 230 5588 number be advised that they charge 10p per minute, they state that the transaction should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete, so in effect costing you an extra 50p, basically they book your tickets the same as you would do yourself by accessing the top gear site and entering your details for you, well i had a right numpty of an operator, he kept getting my info wrong, and got timed out twice, you get 5 minutes to complete your transaction, my phone call lasted around 15 minutes, my advise to anyone trying to book tickets would be to persevere and try to book them yourself online.

Not a bad day out all in all, there were some nice exhibits on show and the cars were'nt bad either :D

Agreed, both the track and arena shows were excellent, my son loved every minute of it and is already looking forward to next years show i could have done with a camcorder really, although i took quite a few videos, sadly they were all taken on my phone, i may try to upload some at some point.
