Avensis name worldwide?

Is the avensis called that worldwide or is it know as something else in different countries apart from europe.Might help me get a different idea on what parts they can get if it's not the same.

Avensis is only sold in Europe ( as Carina E was ). Only other market which takes a similar model is Japan. They used to call Carina, Corona. Not sure what they named the Avensis ( if at all ).

I looked in this year's Automotive Guidebook of Japan and the closest Japan gets to the Avensis is the Caldina – which is an Avensis estate.

It is not yet sold in Japan.

However, I know Toyota is preparing release.

I will hear when it is released in Japan.

I can get genuine japanese import discs and pads for my avensis.Could these be off another toyota model.
