Hi Everyone!

I finally have a Celica Mk1 again!

I used to rally a Mk1 back in the 70's when I worked as a mechanic to a main Toyota dealer in Yorkshire. I left to move to Scotland in 1980 and gave up motorsport but that car never left my heart!

I finally came across a good Shell via John Midgley (ex boss and ex Toyota dealer)and after a year of commuting to Yorkshire to build it I finally have it on the road and I'm like a dog with two tails!!

Lot's still to do, parts to find etc. etc but this car is solid and I'll have it for life......a Man has to have a passion and if it's not the wife then a Celica will do!

Looking forward to joining in with other like minded people.

Thanks Ace.....It puts a huge grin on my face but I didn't realise how much attention it would draw.........park it anywhere and someone always comes up and asks about it! More grin factor!

Hi brian , thanks for comments on my car,

looks like you have done loads of work, car looks great,

have you got 4 garages, wow.

was out this morning , about 2 hrs, weather great along the coast,

went out 8 oclock, wife didnt even know i was gone, ha ha

car running ok , but think i may have put to much transmision fluid in,

its still slipping,am going to drop the fluid again tomorrow,

only just done on friday, but hey am only a novice.
