Hope someone can help with my airbag fault. Is there any way of getting flash codes without specilist equipment? I remember on some older cars you could use a bridging wire at the diagnostic plug to fool the control units. If this can be done where can i find a list of fault codes? :wacko:Pretty sure it will be easy to fix if i can get a code, it looks like a basic systom. :)

If your car has the seat airbags then its worth checking the wires under the seats as these have a habit of causing the warning light to come on.

Just wiggle the connectors about that normally does the trick

The method of obtaining air bag codes varies with the model and year. Need more information as regards this. Try disconnecting the Battery for half an hour to see if it clears the code, make sure you have the radio code! If you check the connectors under the seats make sure the Battery is disconected and wait ten minutes to allow the capacitor to discharge, never but never work on airbags with the Battery in circuit, they can detonate unexpectedly and can cause injury
