HI CAN ANYBODY HELP ME

MY YARIS AS JUST DEVELOPED A PROBLEM Seems to Rev Longer Before Changing Gear, changing from 1st to 2ed when I reach 30 plus it responds as it always did I went to my local Toyota Inchcape Derby they didn’t have any idea they put it on the diagnostics machine {96 quid} the code it was showing is p1346, vvt sensor, they say they could affect vvti controller But what is a vvti controller. Also they said it may have a stretched timing chine this car as only 30000 miles on the clock from new genuine miles as I know the previous owner. Any ideas please Help

I was going to post about this before I ready yours.

I have a Yaris SR d4d on a 58 plate, my wife mainly uses it, well I have just drove it and I was accelerating from standstill out of a junction so was making it rev a bit, and when I depressed the clutch to go to second it carried on revving for an extra second or so. I thought it may have been my clumsy feet but the wife said it had done it twice recently with her. My first suspicions is the modification they did to the accelerator when all the hooha was going on about sticking throttle pedals.

Has yours had the throttle pedal modification done?

Anyone else had similar problems?
