Hi all!

I'm about to install a turbo boost gauge, oil pressure gauge and temperature gauge in my 1.4 D-4d Auris. Any ideas where to intall them? I want to keep the air vents. All three gauges are 60mm from Swoosh.

Also I would like to ask if anybody have any idea where to find illumunated scuff plates?

Regards...

Hundreds??? All gauges together costed including postage 130 pounds! And to answer the question why I am going to do that is simple. Knowing every second the situation of the car as I recently had problems with my turbo so in order to have peace in mind ...

That came out wrong...

130 is cheap for guages did the oil temp/pressure come with piping and sandwich plates? The turbos won't be running enough pressure to do any damage, even if they spike you will have some form of fuel cut. Factor in the cost of a housing unit for the setup. If you are installing them to run of the cars other sensors then u won't be gaining anything from them which the car wouldn't detect itself.

Sorry to come across as a complete tool but it all seems a little pointless. Add the insurance hike which they will class as a mod

Yes they came with piping and sandwich plate. As for the price was an offer from a closing down store!

As for the gauges apart from the usage they will look awesome in the interior

Did you end up installing the gauges?

Here you go, these are also Swoosh, but only oil temp and pressure as it's a petrol car.

How did you get the piping through the firewall. did you make a new hole? and did you use a sandwich plate for the oil pressure/temp?

Sorry can't say about that as it's not my car. Probably you'll need to make a new hole yes.
