Hi, I'm new to this site and just wondered if anybody could help me. I own a 2003 Celica and it has just hit 50,000 miles - is there such a thing as a 50,000 mile service?? Is this something I need to do? People have been talking about cambelt changing and timing belt replacement but I have no idea how I'm supposed to know!! My next service isn't due until May next year so I guess I just want to know if I should be doing something in between?? Thank you in advance, any help much appreciated!

Your vvti engine doe's not have a cam belt, it is chain driven, no replacement needed.

The service period is either every 10,000 miles or yearly, which ever comes first. If it was serviced in May and had done less than 10k it doe's not need a service.
