hi there.

hope you are ready.

the ee90 is similar to the ae-92 if i'm correct?

your shopping list should be-

3S-GTE (from a CElica ST-205 is best), loom and ECU and mountings and cooling system

gearbox from an MR2 Turbo complete with driveshafts

Time and a fair amount of money.

you need to remove the original engine all mounts and the Battery tray.

then position the engine and transmission where it needs to go. then make, modify the mounts to fit.

as long as you have the competant skills ie welding and fabrication experiance then the job isn't that hard.

wiring is a bit of a nightmare but i have the wiring diagrams and its fairly easy to sort out once you get your head around it.

Be warned spending on this project can get very out of hand, mine is now about 12,000-13,000GBP

yes they are similar

GT-4 and Celica ST-205 are the same cars aren't they??

and one small question .... during the puting this engine "and cooling system

gearbox from an MR2 Turbo complete with driveshafts" do i have to weld smthing or cut then replace and weld smthing?? for example i have clutch with cord or string... and if MR2 turbo clutch have hydraulic cluth ... then what ?? ... o and from which one mr2 94-98 ?? (i think U get my point)

ps my english suxx

yep both are the same but the "205" has more power than the 185 or 165 gt4's

mr2 box needs the gear selector changing to face out the back of the box (MR2 has the shifter on the front as its mounted at the back of the car) but bthis only takes about 20minutes. box will bolt straight on to the engine as the same engine is in MR2 and Celica. both have hydaulic clutches as does the rolla although the slave cylider will need swapping for th mr2 one.

if you are serious about doing this i'll sort some pictures out to shou the mounts and there positions etc
