The new menace on the roads..

Right! Im sure everyone has had a run in with a nova/saxo/clio type. And god forbid if you pull up next to a Ford driver... you know the type. These baseball capped crusaders are an annoyance experienced now and then if your car has even the slightest of mods.

BUT there is a new menace...it is... THE MINI DRIVER. Yes...every damn mini ive pulled up to or even passed in the last 4 days kicks down a gear and zooms past. I mean..why? Just today in the city centre an eejit with a yellow(yes YELLOW..scary!:p)mini cut in front of me in order to show me the prowess of his mighty 115bhp lump. It was the last straw so I thought what the hell...give him what he wants:mad:. Rather than take over I chose to irritate him by chase. The result was him almost smacking a taxi in his failed attempt to 'smoke' me.

I regret doing this as it could have caused a serious accident so I now look the other way when I see a twentysomething trendy type chancer that has watched Fast&Furious one time too many:cool:.

Any1 else had a 'mini moment' or any amusing race experiences on the street?

LMFAO couldn't agree more...

Not worth the hassle enjoy your car but don't (I'll repeat that don't) let some muppet who things he's the puppies plums force you to drive like the idiots they oh so often prove themselves to be....

Yes i know just what you are on about. Since i wrote that post about T sport vs saxo vts. I really dont know why oh why some drivers have got to do things like that.

Perhaps its a guy thing. But oh no girls do that too. Some women make it a point that they can drive fast as well.

Maybe its because they know that the yaris is a quick car and they just want to brag to there mates that they took out a yaris. So that they can add that to there collection of cars that they burnt up :o

In traffic today with all that snow on the ground. Bumper to bumper i was surprised how many people where giving me the eye. I was beginning to think that the car was on fire or somethink like that :o

I generally think that the Yaris T sport brings the animal out in fellow drivers they seem to see it as a target or something like that :o

Until the next idiot cuts me up see yah

jerry. ;)

I find BMW drivers rude and arrogant and like the world owes them. They get so wound up if you wont let them overtake you at 120mph. Listen up Beemer drivers, it's not the best car in the world in fact built well or not I find them extremely booooring cars. This doesn't seem to be coincidence it happens loads. Were you originally talking about the BMW (2 series) mini or the old piece of crap every one seems to love?

Its the series 2 im referring to jimma. My god tis true! I totally failed to make that link. The new mini muppets are essentially BMW drivers arent they! It makes perfect sense now:D

I must confess tho I was also a BMW driver but my brother owned it (it the truth I swear!)E36 318 4dr complete with 'bwad boy' polished m3 wheels and a 'phat' system:(. I was 17(he was 19 blame him ok he shoulda known better!)) and wanted a good pose. Forgive me father for I have sinned:(:(:(

I think we all probably go through a bit of a mad driver stage when we are young, and as it seems time to own up to these things I'm very sorry to have to say I had an early black Escort XR3i when I was 18 (and that's my excuse, I was young and naiive:()

That was back in 1991 though I must add! I'm now older and wiser and have never bought another Ford again! :D

But I'm really sorry for any offence or discomfort this revelation may have caused! :P

Forgive them they know not what they do :D

My first car was a little B reg XR2 which I must admit was a lot of fun, it was like driving a go-kart. But the reliability left a lot to be desired (and it was, ahem, thrashed to death) Most lads/men have a little 'XR' history!

Found this::D:D:D:D

Not in any way wanting to wind up or annoy and "Inferior Car" (BMW) drivers whatsoever... Come on guys... we all love them really! They don't actually annoy us that much... honest!

Subject: BMW Drivers

The other day I was cruising along as usual coming onto one of my motorways, which was very busy with inferior cars.

First off, I couldn't believe that the volume of traffic DIDN'T slow

down for me AT ALL as I came off the slip road! I had to squeeze into a barely big enough gap between two cars in order to get onto my motorway! (The driver of the car behind me did realise his mistake though and honked an apology to me with a long blast of his horn.)

Unbelievably, I had to do the same again before I could get to the BMW lane.(Why do underlings use this lane? Surely everyone knows it is for BMW drivers only?)

Anyway, once I was in the BMW lane and posing along at 95mph enjoying the adulation that the inferior car drivers were giving me, I noticed an inferior car ahead of me which was not only in the BMW lane of my motorway, but was driving at a ridiculous 70 mph!

Naturally, I got to within a foot or so of his rear bumper and flashed my headlights to remind him he shouldn't be in the BMW lane of my motorway and to get out of my way.

Of course, once he realised it was a BMW behind him, he did just that, but I could hardly believe it when he pulled straight back out behind me!

He also tried to keep up with me and when he realised I would outrun him, he put on some blue lights in his front grill and urged me to get onto the hard shoulder so that he could congratulate me on my excellent car.

Needless to say, I was eager to oblige and when we had stopped, the man gave me a piece of paper confirming what I already knew - that my car goes fast!

Apparently he wants everyone to know what a superior car I have, so I had to take my driver's licence to a Police Station to be sent away to have some points put on! They're not free points either - they're 20 pounds each and I was only allowed 3.

But the man at the Police Station said because I drive a BMW, it won't be much longer before I earn the full 12 points, and then I won't even NEED a driving licence, so they will take it off me!

See, now THAT's the sort of respect you get when you buy and drive a BMW!
