Roof Box

Hi

I have just bought a mont blanc 450 roof box for my 56 reg verso - and it looks a bit big!!! i am still waiting delivery of roof bars so have yet to try it on car. Does anyone else have a roof box this size or similar?? does it fit ok or is it too long/big for car. looking at it i think it might overhang a bit at the front or will probably fit if i remove aerial??? I have 3 young children so bought it for extra space when on holidays to fit everything in.

On mine have a Kamei Delphin 380, with dimensions 158 x 94 x 40cm, size 380 litres, so it's probably a size down - that fits close to aerial and is fairly streamlined to the car without overhang. However there's no reason why you can't overhang at the front on yours. The aerial does unscrew and from memory is an M5 sized screw thread.
