What Are The Different Tyre Size I Can Fit On My Celica Gen 7

At the moment I have 205/35/18's on my celica gen7 both front and back.

The problem is that the clearance between the tyres and the arches are far too big. I was wondering what other tyre sizes can I put on without them rubbing.

Could I could put bigger ratio on the back and the tyres still won't rub?

Thanks guys

The only sensible way to fill your arches is to lower the car.

If you increase the profile of the tyres, then you increase the rolling radius which will then have a negative effect on your speedo, accerleration & ecconomy.

205/50/16

205/45/17

205/35/18

All have the same rolling radius.

Sorry edwardio, but you are incorrect as regards 205/35/18. The correct size for keeping a virtually identical rolling radius as OE with 18" Rims is 225/35/18. When I used to run 18's on my Gen 7, it was with 225/35 front, 225/40 rear. A 225 width tyre is ideal for either 7.5J or 8J Rims.
