Front Fin Things On Later Models

I've seen somewhere that the later spec MR2's had like front find things put somewhere near the front wheels.

What was this for?

Can you retrofit them to a mk2?

How much?

Do you mean the rubber/plastic wind deflectors that sit infront of the front wheels?

I have them on my rev5, I don't know if they serve a purpose or they are just there to look pretty.

I guess Mr T would be able to give you a price and I can't see why you can't retro fit them.

The deflectors were meant to improve front end stability at high speeds. I have no idea of whether they actually work though!!

I can't see any reason why you couldn't retro fit them.

Price, I seem to remember they were something like £40 a piece - typical Toyota rip off!

Ah, i'll have to check this out then. I was thinkin if it may help with WIND NOISE!!! AHHHHHHHAHAHHHHGHGHGHGHHAHAHAHAHHHHH!!!!

lol nah they wont help with wind noise unfortunately :P many owners have said that high speed stability is much improved with them on though.
