Avensis Staling And No Power And Not Starting

hi all,

i have an avensis d4d 2lt on a 05 plate, ive taken it to a toyota garage 3 times now, first 2 times they said nothing wrong the 3rd time thy said nothing wrong THEN THEY WENT TO DRIVE IT OUT AND THE PROBLEM KICKED IN, RANDOMLY THA CAR WILL STALL OR HAVE NO POWER AND SOMETIMES WILL NOT START, if i disconnect the Battery for 3 minutes away she goes perfect !!!!!! toyota garage said they dont know what the problem is, said they would get in touch with toyota in japan and get back to me , that was five weeks ago!!!!!!!!! and still nothing.

CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME BECAUSE ITS REALLY GETTING ON MY NERVES NOW?????

have done egr, were,what and how do i do the scv please ?

it is on the diesel fuel pump.

I assume you have checked if you are getting fuel past the filter?

and replaced the filter.

yea checked fuel and replaced fuel, oil, air filter on service last week, i will have a look for the scv, how do i clean it please

you should not clean them but to measure each coil resistance and compare with table data -- minor deviation leads to its failure when heated from the engine. cheers/Igor
