Huh? Aside from the Avensis 2.2 cylinder cracking issue, I haven't heard of that many engine failures here, certainly less than the turbo failure stories I get from friends who've owned BWMs :lol:

No doubt in 2014 there will be more stringent emissions regulations, cars running on super thin 0w20 or less oils.

I dont think toyotą want to take a risk on replacing engines again. It must be costing them a fortune.

So Toyota stops developing diesels...? I'm sad to hear that. I kinda hoped there would be a D-CAT II. engine :)

I worked on a 2 litre in a 320 (2005) this weekend and it sounds like a bag of pots compared to mine. Makes lots of turbo wooing noises for haloween night :eek:
