That's 30,000kms....at £22,900 for a 2010 plate! or

a 120,000km 2006 for 15Grand!.....feeling sorry for me yet? hahahaha

http://www.bytbil.com/bilar/toyota/rav4/tvkx4edg/A0ABUDIAAY8Qv0QAAA__!

What's the equivalent going for in Ole Blighty.....or maybe I don't want to know! hahaha

Ahemahem cough cough....thankS for that Autotrader link...got a bit sidetracked! Well looking at the comparison and we are paying 25% -30% more for second hand up here! Which is what I suspected....second hand car prices are eye wateringly expensive...esepcially RAVs....I bought mine from a dealer and by law they have got to give you a 12 month warranty....and I got 10% off the screen price for paying cash....but it's still flippin pricey!....Not done that many miles in it since I bought it in October.....but so far, it has been a good experience...starts first time..parts appear cheap..£14 oil filter...£11 for pollen filter etc etc.....only issue is the fuel consumption but I can live with that provided its not getting repaired in the garage every 2months!....and hopefully I can keep it in half decent nick in order to flog it on if I need to.....Happy Days! Cheers A

So what you need to do is buy one of our cheap Ravs take it to Sweden and you will have a unique RHD at a low cost (ignoring all the import costs) you could say it is that old it is from before you guys shifted to driving on the right

Yes, it can be done but you risk increased insurance costs cause it's a righty and an import....and when it comes to selling it, you will not be accepedt as a trade in, and you will find it difficult to shift in the private market too. If you were willing to take the risk then it could work out. I wasn't here whe the did literally change from driving on the right to the left overnight backin the 60's!.....I have friends who still remember that week when they had the army and police on every major road and junction waving their arms at the drivers! hahaha That must been an interesting few days!

I find all LHD cars what ever manufacturer are always a couple of grand more than RHD UK cars, dont ask me why, when there are more LHD in the world you would think they would be cheaper.

When I was looking for a LHD car they where always 3-4K more than the UK equivelant.

Cars are cheaper in this country than anywhere else, Just go to a car auction and see how many forigners are there buying up every thing, working or total write off, a lot of UK car are going abroad for parts.

Yeagh I have came across that too....Shouldn't it be the other way around....it must be a right royal pain for the manufacturers to make RHD models!
