Glow Plugs

Hello, I have an '08 Auris D4D T Spirit which is very poor at starting when cold. It starts no problem when warm. However there is no glow plug light coming on when starting. Does this mean that they are working ok? I will change the oil as I suspect it was topped up with 10W 40 oil.

Once you put your clutch foot down the Start button should go green after a second or two- you are good to go.

If you are having trouble starting could be a number of problems. If its new ( to you) then report it. Could be a weak Battery?

Mines always starts first time even during the worst of last winter and I have the same car.
