2009 Avensis Tourer Lights

Hi all....

I am toying with the idea of changing my light bulbs to stronger ones. Now that we are driving in the dark more I have realised that the beam isnt very strong/long. (I have had the alligment checked and its set as it should be)

Anywho, I looked at how to remove the light bulbs and found that it's pretty much impossible to get ones hand behind the light cluster to remove the bulbs, on one side there's the washer bottle and on the other side there is an intake pipe (?).... has anyone changed their bulbs? If yes, how did you go about doing this....

Cheers

Rob

the hand book will tell you how to remove the bulbs including how to twist the top of the washer bottle and remove it so that access is better.

Read that... will have to see how that translates into realtime dealing... if it is anything like disabling the auto lock feature on the doors then this is going to be fun...

On another note, does anyone know what the standard bulbs are in our new shape avensis and what light temp rating they have?

I'm looking at either replacing them with Extreme white xenon. Osram Night breaker Plus or Ring Xeneon Max bulbs.... any advise is greatly appreciated...
