i have a mk4 hilux with 245/70/16 tyres. ive now got a 1 and half inch body lift kit. will i be able to fit 285/75/16 tyres on it?. thanks

Hi Dean, I'm completely new to this forum and cannot answer your question. But did you say you had 245/70/16 tyres on, were these on the stock suspension with no wheel spaces?

Thinking of getting bigger tyres but not wanting lift kit. Will go for spacers if I have to along with arch extensions.

Also, I have been on internet looking at accessories and just wanted to know if you knew any really good shops for accessories as I'm looking to make it a sort of Australian expedition vehicle and just wanted to do this as cheap as possible.

I can't speak for the MKIV Hilux, but for perspective, to run 285/75/16's on a 3rd Gen surf (same age, ish) you needat least 4" of lift.

I have 33/12.6/r15's on mine but get them on I've had to put 4" lift on.
