Retro Fitting Heated Seats And Leather

Hi

I currently looking at a nearly new TR estate and the only major problem is the wife would like leather and heated seats, I would buy a T4 or TSpirt but there are none around at the right price.

Has anyone had leather and heated seats fitted and if so is it a good job and what sort of costs???

Thanks

Firstly, it will be really difficult to find a set of leather seats, unless you but new from Mr T, which will be really expensive. Let alone the fitting, because I'm not sure if the wiring loom is the same for all models, it might turn out to me more hassle then it is worth.

My advice would be to buy a T4 or T-Spirit model. For the right price, you might have to look at cars which have done above average miles, but has a full toyota service history.

Ah ok, I assumed new seats from reading your post earlier. In that case, with regards to heated seats, not sure, but you can go to Halfords and get their leather set, I have for my 2006 car, but wouldn't recommend, esp as the back seats don't fit well, front seats are not too bad.

I had seen on eBay, not there anymore, whereby a specialist company would make fitting leather covers, admittedly it was for the previous shape avensis, but the cost was around £260 comapred to Halfords, £70 (I think, at the time there was a 50% discount offer when I got them)

Sorry not much more help
