Wow! So Brighton councilors dont think that the money paid by residents for council tax and road tax is enough? Sounds like they need a wake up call. Maybe next time you vote, the monster raving loony party could be worth a try?

Up until a couple of years ago, the Isle of Wight council had a thing whereby vehicles in tax bands A and B were exempt from paying parking fees in off-road carparks.

Then it became more difficult for their operatives to tell the difference so they stopped it...

As for having to pay to park outside your own home.... No comment!
