Avensis D-Cat Parts

Anyone know of any scrapyard that have a 2004 toyota avensis d-cat 2.0 ? Im in need of part number 23710-27010. Toyota garage quoted me 1.7k euros for the part and this is not the money i can afford :D I believe its part 23710B in this diagram: http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_E_200404_TOYOTA_AVENSIS_CDT250L-AEMGXW_2201.html

I assume you have the D-CAT 2.0 with Diesel Particulate filter?

The Part 23710B is the DPF injector.

Toyota part number is actually 2371026012.

You have two choices, buy the injector seperate,

or completely remove the DPF system

There D-CAT for sale on eBay. I did have it saved. I might have even posted it on the "eBay finds" on this forum. Take a look if you get a chance. I'll see if I can find it and post the link for you...

Do you know who does DPF removal in ireland and how much it would cost ?

I think you'll find that this can't be done (Even though there are companies that say they can!) as the Denso ECU is a bugger to crack and no one has to date AFAIK. There was a post ( By Daveonthemove) if I remember correctly on this issue and a company that offered this, but he never got a responce from his emails to them...Think the cost was something like £800???
