Hi all,

I have not been on forum for a very long time, living overseas! my son took my "lilly" out of storage and put her on the road for me to come back to,hes been running it for a 6 months and its been fine. so im back here to say hi, but also i have a problem that im hoping is a fuse but im not sure?

my son replaced the cigarette lighter which i can't recall ever working, because i never used it. i topped up the screen wash and rad, and then went out, my son was in the car with me and tried to use the cigarette lighter, it wouldn't work and he pressed it a few times.

the following day i realised that the digital clock dispaly was not on, my cd palyer was not on and although all the buttons light up on the AC/heating controls, and the rear window demist works nothing else is working!

so i have no heater and no front screen demist.

as far as i can remember(i didn't look) the clock etc was working until my son pushed the cigarette lighter several times, or was that the reason it wasn't working it had all gone poof right then?

i have had a look, and found several fuse boxes, before i start pulling these tiny fuses out and hope i can get some from the local car spares shop, has anyone any ideas ~ is there a central fuse for the centre console, bearing in mind the heater button lights work or is it a relay? if so where is that located?

any help really apprecaited, im taking the car over seas in a few day and i need to deal with this really quickly

Your DOME fuse has gone. One fuse that controls all those things. Its in the fuse box under the steering wheel. Check the diagram on the back of the fuse box lid to see which it is.

No its a normal looking one, but its referred to as Dome as its the Cabin dome as such. Most interior items are connected to the dome fuse. Just check all the fuses in the box and replace as needed.
