Flat Spots

My 2.2 D4D is acting up at slow speed slightly hesistant to pull cleanly away on roundabout. This never happens from stand still, the vehicle feels like its just about to die then pulls away two garages have checked one found the actuator pipe to the turbo had a leak this was replaced car ran fine for a week then problem crept in again. Mr T main dealer had a go found nothing wrong despite testing on diagnostics and test run. Any one have any experience of this type of problem. The only thing not checked is the EGR valve how do check/clean it if need be.

egr is located onto of the engine block.

its a sticky valve.

If it feels like turbo lag and then a burst of boost do you get a cloud of soot? This was the problem i had on an 04 Focus TDCI, the valve was cream crackered and would stick. Can't recall seeing this specific issue with the Toyota EGR's though on here, its normally just clogged up with poor starting/low MPG.
