Oil

I changed my oil on my rev3 turbo this weekend and as usual I got my oil and filter from Fensport.

It was the usual fully synthetic Valvoline oil that I get from them but this time it was 5w-50w oil. It says that it is for motorsport use.

Is this stuff ok?!

Should be ok mate if its listed with service parts, it had better be as my oil/filter is a couple of months due a change :ffs: therefore will be buying some!

TBH 5w is a little thin for the engine, you may find it sounds a bit rattly on startup - the noise should dissappear as the engine warms up and the oil reaches its 50w viscosity. I find the best oil grade to use is 15w 40.
