Gear Selection Chirp

Noise when putting it in!!!!!!! ooh er missus, keep it clean.

Noted recently that when I select 1st gear from neutral I get a slight chirp noise…

It occurs just as you feel the very slight resistance before it slides home…, this is the only way I can describe it.

I’am not particularly worried, but!

Mostly in the cold weather conditions.

Anybody got ideas?
