I need a rev3 centre panel to go with my new Lexus rears.. non of the brakers have them in stock..

So I rang toyota and they quoted me £127 plus VAT for the complete unit.

Second hand Rev3 lights from mtte are £187.. but I'll be stuck with the lights.

What should I do?.. I dont fancy the rev6 centre panel (sorry matt).

I might have to bow down to Mr T!

why do u need this pannel im asking coz im intrested in these lights too is it because of the reverse lights or do the lexi lights stick out ?

find some mr2 owner who leaves thier boot open. When they're not looking quickly nab that centre panel.

Or.... wait a month or so until I get the rev6 rears... then you can have mine !

You could always put the Rev3 lights on eBay they always seem popular.

Right then....

I spoke to toyota about the rev3+ centre pannel and this is what I got back,

Centre panel (un-painted/less reverse lenses/less bulb holders) £104.53+vat

left-side reverse lense £56+vat

right-side reverse lense £40+vat

bulb holders approx £20+vat

£260 all in and then you have to get it painted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You could buy the rev6 on, cut some holes in it and try to fudge some lights in to it....maybe not. Sorry I can't help more.

lol...... you know me... never happy with the car. Thinking of changing the bomex nose cos it is a bit of a gappy fit at one bit. Also the black mesh in the nose has a few stone chips on it now... annoying me.

How could I easily go about painting the mesh again ??

You would have to ensure you mask the rest of the car (behind the mesh too) but other than that it should be quite easy.

bh696... the rear lexus lights are made to replace the rev3 lights upwards and the centre panel is curved at the ends rather than flat like the horrid rev1 centre panel.

Not sure what I will do with the old trim.. its not worth anything.... could make a nice MR2 ash tray!

Might stick it on my bedroom wall.
