Removing Head Unit From Auris 08 1.6 Sr

Hello forum,

Been looking at the XcarLink and want to fit it into my Auris SR.

XcarLink - CLICK HERE - Believe this is the correct one, as far as I am aware, just plugs in to the back on the head unit.

Two part question really;

Is the XcarLink just simple, plug and play?

How can i remove the Auris Head unit to get to the back to plug it in? Any diagrams/guides/help please?

I followed this guide to remove the stereo.

I've not fitted an xcarlink kit before, I'm considering the Dension Gateway 100... However I'd be interested to hear how you get on with the xcarlink kit.
