In any other thread members would be told to stay on topic and not keep posting random videos.....

My posting of videos is not at all random and is (In all cases) a comment in reply to the previous post using creativity and artistic ability.......Something that is sadly lacking on the forum sometimes ;) .......Totaly on topic and valid forum comment

Any member of the moderating team has the ability to close or delete this topic.......It is a pity that such a storm has blown up out of such a small star !..........Maybe it was the Nativity Star

I've seen this before and it's not a good direction for a single-make forum. This thread wants locking before it causes rifts between staff with 5k+ post counts. Charlie offered his star to someone else, has done a flounce-exit. Petulant, regrettable, over-and-done-with.

Seen mods leave and forums wither and die over this sort of single member tosh. Charlie will be logging in to check his wake, half wanting to post half not. Has refused to be persuaded thusfar. Lock it up.

Before it is locked I'd like to just say that I am as sorry as anyone to see Charlie go although somebody seems to be taking great delight in it. I don't know quite what has gone on here and what sort of personality clash has gone on.

From my point of view, I have tried to talk Charlie round but I'm not begging and I'm rather surprised that he has reacted in such a way over something and nothing. In my role as moderator I've tried to make a subtle but necessary advisory about bad language and I make no apologies for doing so, nor do I blame gaz for editing the post. We've always had a good relationship on this RAV forum - something that might be down to the age range and the maturity of the members. Its unfortunate that we get to locking down the thread.
