Wind Noise

'afternoon gentlemen.Today's problem is: Getting a kind of "windy" noise coming from front o/s.when accelerating hard Sounds like the noise u would get when passing a fence, if that makes any sense!Any sensible answers would be appreciated. :thumbsup:

I would imagine passing a fence would be quite painfull, so would not be suprised if you could hear a bit of wind. :-) acompanied by a large roar!

Have you had a good look around the area? It may be something has come loose, on an older car i had (not a rav) one of the brackets that held the bumper came loose which dropped the bumper down a little and allowed air to get above it and create a hissing noise..

You sure its not a stone or something stuck on the brake and scrapping as it rotates?

Any chance a window is cracked open ever so slightly, mucker, or jamming just before fully closed? Happened to me on a Carlton once...bit of gunge in lekky window track. Apologies...not meaning to treat you like an eejit...but, on second thoughts.... :thumbsup::lol:

Have a good safe time and drive like an Oban person....NAW DON'T...DRIVE CAREFULLY.

Had a look unner the cor an' fun the wee mudflap in front of ra front wheel wis a wee bit shoogly, might be rat...might no be rat,A'll huv tae run alongside the cor on ma skateboard when ra misses goes tae Tescos. Culprit found, Baz....only quite recently explained that wee dodda rubber is what stops turbulationment in Archie's wheels....sorry....wheelarches....go fix min.

Cheers Kev,I thought it might be the culprit, and its also safer than runnin alongside on ma skateboard,especialy when the wifes drivin! (shes fae Oban) :) I'll fix ra morra weather permitting :thumbsup:
