Good to see you back on here Charlie. Place hasn't been quite the same tbh. And you're right that if any instructor gets into the "Darker side of the force!" then you can say bye bye to your licence for good... Lets hope that the person who has caused all this mischief has seen the light! Or the last thing he'll prob see is the red dot off the scope of that !Removed! big gun of yours!

Welcome home mate. :toast:

We have a lake near us Charlie. The snow makes it a bit awkward to scramble out after a dip.

Peters & Lee pop duo from years ago. Peters died in 1992. I think my Dad was saying they won a Hughie Greene show he didn,t know the name of the show. one hit wonders he thinks!!!!!

Suppose it was the X factor of the day.

Regards Clare

Jakie Pallo and Mick Mcmannus were wrestling.... Ali and Frazier were boxing.... Scrambling was a Saturday afternoon institution... Dripping was considered food for the gods. Kids played OUTSIDE. The Kids on Our estate played shove halfpenny with manhole covers and Big Kev was celebrating His 40th birtday and Charlie was in nursery .............. Ey By gum ..........

Yes I know great place to live been up here 11 yrs now after moving up from SW Sheffield not that far from anchorman I think, infact I was in Castleton Saturday night and missed all the the snow on Sunday in the Hope valley, but returned home to 3 inch on Monday  .

I can tell the the difference with the all weather vredstein tyres fitted this winter compared to the Dunlop sp 2030 fitted when the U/c was new.

Not sure if the U/c is the poormans Rav4 but I have seen 4 or 5 in and around Pitlochry now.I just wish the boot space were slightly bigger then for me it would be perfect

I share You enthusiasm for Vredestien Tyres !! I have them on the Rav just now. They have only been on for a few weeks.. I hoped to get up to Glencoe before Christmas but time and events have closed in so will be up after the holidays when I return from the Midlands where I shall be spending time with the Kids...

Like ManxRav somtimes I wish I was back in a Rav4 to put the vredsteins on,but again I get around 55mpg and road tax is £95yr,it is only when I need to see Father Christmas with the pressies for him to deliver I can put up with the size of the boot the U/c is the next best thing

Very likely !! I was just a wee boy but remember sitting every Saturday afternoon watching the scrambling without fail !! Brilliant it was... Then it would be outside climbing trees or scrumping !! Blimey do Kids scrump these days ??

My Wife still cannot understand why I rarely eat a supermarket Apple !! Where's the fun in that I ask You ?

I remember as a very wee boy chasing Girls with something on the end of a stick... A clue ?? Well the Country is in it.. Deeply !!
